Our story

Software licensing, done the way we wished someone did it for us.

FIVE CODELAB started with a simple frustration: buying a legitimate Office or Windows license meant choosing between full retail pricing and marketplaces full of keys that stopped working after a month. We built a store that sits in neither camp — genuine licenses from authorised distribution, fair prices, and a support line staffed by people who have activated thousands of copies.

What we stand for

Three promises on every order

Genuine, or your money back

Every key is sourced from authorised distribution and activates directly with the publisher. If a key cannot be activated and we cannot fix it, you are refunded — no arguments.

Honest licensing terms

Every listing states plainly whether it is bought once or renews on a schedule, and how many devices it covers, before you pay. No auto-renewals you did not ask for.

Support that answers

A toll-free line and an inbox monitored Mon – Sat, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM PT. Activation help stays free for the entire life of your license.

FIVE CODELAB is a California-registered software retailer that believes buying a license should take minutes, not an afternoon of comparison tabs and renewal traps.

Why we exist

Subscriptions quietly became the default for software that most people use for a decade. We started FIVE CODELAB to offer the alternative: genuine perpetual licenses for Microsoft Office, Windows, Project and Visio, delivered by email within minutes and backed by real humans on a toll-free line.

How we work

  • Genuine only. Every key comes from the publisher or an authorised distributor and activates against the publisher's own servers.
  • Instant delivery. Our fulfilment system assigns a key the moment your payment clears.
  • Support that picks up. Activation help is included with every order — by phone, email or chat, for a full year.
  • Transparent pricing. The price you see is the price you pay. No hidden renewal.
